Specializing in bread and other baked goods, family-owned Turano Baking Company turned to NELSON to design their new cold storage facility. Providing turnkey design and architectural services, NELSON rose to the challenge of keeping quality, freshness, and safety in mind.
The building features space for production, freezers and coolers, and office operations. Implementing the latest technology for temperature control and energy efficiency, the exterior structure of the freezer and cold docks are insulated with metal panels, while production and office spaces are non-insulated with tilt-up concrete panels.
