NELSON Worldwide designed Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment’s first auxiliary casino in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. Located on the site of a former Lowe’s home improvement store, NELSON approached the design with the intent to transform the property into a gaming destination. The 73,000 square foot casino includes 500 slot machines and 48 electronic table positions along with a first class 100-seat restaurant and sports bar.
Design inspiration was drawn from the warm interior color palette of Parx’s flagship casino combined with a contemporary aesthetic that referenced the new exterior of the building. The new casino brings the elegance and quality expected of the Parx brand to the transformed interiors.
