McRae Women’s Prison Conversion

NELSON is leading the transformation of the McRae Correctional Facility, repurposing the site into a specialized multi-custody female facility for the Georgia Department of Corrections. Through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach that spans architecture and complex engineering systems, we are adapting the environment to address the unique operational and social needs of female residents.
