We partnered with Hyatt to deliver Hyatt Place Athens, located within walking distance of the University of Georgia and all downtown attractions. The goal was to create a new hotel amenity in the downtown area that would capitalize on the demand for urban lodging options.
Directly connected to The Classic Center, northeast Georgia’s premier convention center and performing arts theater, the hotel includes 190 guestrooms, a full restaurant and bar with outdoor terrace dining, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center, more than 3,000 square feet of boardroom and meeting space, and a parking deck with more than 260 spaces.
