Holler & Dash, a chef-driven, fast casual restaurant with a Southern inspired menu, tasked us with innovating and implementing a design strategy and flexible prototype that could be transformed to reflect the local surroundings and expression of each unique location. Our Midtown Atlanta design is bold, vibrant, and welcoming.
Using the site’s original architectural features such as exposed brick walls, existing window frames, and poured concrete flooring complements the industrial aesthetic of the neighborhood. Marking the entrance, an I-beam and railroad-tie-inspired front porch reflects the urban origins of the adjacent Westside Ironworks foundry. In the dining room, concrete high-top community tables are a place for guests to gather and experience the restaurant’s signature seating style.
Environmental graphics with conversational sayings and Atlanta-inspired art pieces are scattered throughout, adding to the welcoming feel and hospitable experience. This spunky biscuit house now has several locations sprinkled throughout the South, each reflecting the personality and flair of the surrounding neighborhood.
