Glenstar Properties
Combining collaboration, socialization, and private work spaces for a multi-tenant building
Our team was challenged with designing five SPEC suites in the Chicago Board of Trade Building for Glenstar Properties. The goal was to reposition the existing suites to attract growing technology and financial companies. Ranging from 3,000 to 6,500 square feet, each suite, diverse in size, is designed to increase the leasing velocity of the building and give tenants the ability to move in quickly and seamlessly.
Led by a design aesthetic we describe as “urban energy,” the new spaces feature private and open spaces for individual work, as well as areas for agile work, collaboration, and scrums. The pantries in the suites are open to a multi-functional social table so employees can use as a work zone or to socialize with colleagues.
