Emory’s Alzheimer’s Clinical Research Unit (ACRU) has undergone a multi-phase interior renovation within a 1960s office building. The completed renovation now offers over 12,000 square feet dedicated to clinical research, including labs, flex rooms, consulting spaces, and physician learning areas. An additional 12,000 square feet of support and administration space connects the research clinic to Emory’s student population and researchers. The ACRU now welcomes participants into the lobby with a view of the processing laboratory, strengthening the crucial connection between individuals and the research process. The infusion center, situated along exterior walls, features floor-to-ceiling windows with views of a therapy garden and the surrounding landscape.
