We teamed up with Saks Fifth Avenue to design their first Canadian flagship store within the historic Hudson Bay store, located on Queen Street in Toronto. We tackled all aspects of the store’s branding, planning, design, and merchandising for the three-level, 122,700 square-foot building.
The result is an elegant, gallery-like display of Saks’ luxurious shoes, clothing, and accessories. Inspired by nature, the design tells three visual stories, mimicking the serene ripple effect of rain, rough texture of the forest, and seamless motion of a storm. Furniture, fixtures, and lighting act as art, tying everything together to create a poetic and sophisticated shopping experience.
