Reimagining the South Philadelphia Sports Complex into a dynamic mixed-use destination
Master planned by NELSON, the South Philadelphia Sports Complex is approximately 260 acres and includes three major sports venues, serving the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and 76ers. There are 2,000 residential units (a combination of podium and midrise residential buildings) and between 400,000 and 500,000 SF of retail, commercial, and entertainment uses. The live music venue consists of 5,500 to 6,000 seats, and there are 10,000 spaces in the parking garages. Along with 500,000 SF of office space, the project includes a major upgrade to the transit stop and two full service hotels (total 500+ guestrooms).
