Our long-standing partnership with this confidential client presented the opportunity to collaborate on an 8,000 SF adaptive reuse project, maintaining the industrial materiality with a focus on sustainability for LEED Platinum certification. The design team opened up the façade of this corner location with additional glazing, blurring the lines of the outdoor and indoor space with a visible sense of overall transparency that viscerally connects the brand with the community.

Natural light floods the space, complemented by biophilic design elements such as a living wall and large-scale seating adorned with trees and plantings, creating a relaxed atmosphere for customers to interact with each other and the staff. Additionally, the reuse of a rolling grill decorated with graffiti as an indoor piece of local art adds a striking focal point to the environment.
