We partnered with Hudson Bay Company’s global store design team to create the first freestanding Saks Fifth Avenue shoe boutique, 10022-SHOE. The goal was to rethink the traditional department store, crafting a unique shop that reflects the local environment of downtown Greenwich, Connecticut.
We reimagined the shoe shop to fit Greenwich’s quaint, boutique-style neighborhood. Pulling inspiration from the small-town feel of Greenwich Avenue, the shop features a social space with lounge seating to reflect a more residential atmosphere, and the fixtures enhance the natural light. Soft materials used throughout contribute to the overall elegant and sophisticated look, and the color palette celebrates the four seasons of Greenwich, making 10022-SHOE a popular destination along one of the most expensive streets in America.
