We were tasked with transforming both the interior and exterior of this San Jose, California building, with the goal to reposition the building to attract technology tenants. Our team designed a new entry with modern curb appeal, a bright, contemporary interior, and a spacious outdoor amenity area to make the building more engaging.
The new entry features an aluminum-clad façade canopy, along with extensive hardscaping and landscaping. The repositioned interior includes a large, open two-story lobby with a steel-clad illuminated feature wall to make a statement upon entering.
New amenities for employees and guests include a spacious outdoor gathering spot with a shade structure and lounge seating accessible from a glass roll-up door that opens from the indoor break area. The building also features fully upgraded restrooms with new fixtures, accessories, showers, and LED lighting.
Throughout the interior the original natural wood beam ceiling joists remain unfinished to contrast with the trendy finishes, making the overall transformation a perfect balance that appeals to the modern-day worker.
