Paulding County Adult Detention and Law Enforcement Center
Eliminating congestion and improving security
The existing Paulding County Adult Detention Facility was operating at capacity, causing overcrowding. In an effort to improve the conditions at the Adult Detention Center, Paulding County updated their needs assessment and master plan for their population growth. We partnered with them to provide architectural design and engineering services for the new detention center.
The new facility is located adjacent to the courthouse for safe and efficient transferring between the jail and courts. The 250,000 square-foot facility now houses 660 beds, new administrative space for the sheriff’s office, and 240 modular steel cells.
