We partnered with The Kroger Company to develop their Kitchen 1883 restaurant. This location is the third of its kind, each designed to reflect the characteristics of its local neighborhood. Centered near the main strip in Anderson Township, Ohio, the full-service restaurant is a warm, friendly atmosphere placed in a sunny corner of the newly developed shopping center.
The restaurant offers a variety of seating options for everyone, from a party of one to large groups and families. A community table located near the open-concept kitchen is meant to make guests feel like they’re eating at the chef’s table. The bar and its counter seating, surrounded by TVs, act as a cove for cocktail fanatics interested in the restaurant’s extensive bourbon list and local beers on tap. Booth and dining seating area scattered throughout for additional accommodations.
The overall design is rustic and raw, featuring wood accents and concrete textures. White subway tile with black trim, along with globe light fixtures and a textured glass vintage window give off a retro and vintage feel, while the warm color palette with pops of orange energize the space.
The neighborhood-friendly eatery is easygoing and welcoming for all types of guests and occasions.
