Working closely with Hilton Garden Inn, our team led the architecture for the brand’s newly built Camden Waterfront location. Adjacent to a vibrant mixed-use development, the 180-room, 122,750 square-foot hotel features over 4,000 square feet of event space, and 20 extended-stay units sit adjacent to the Delaware River and a short walk to a new office, retail, and entertainment venues.
Customizing the Hilton Garden Inn standards, our team designed a modern facade featuring steel-framed windows and unobstructed views of the riverfront. In the lobby, The Shop offers a 24-hour grab-and-go retail space featuring an upscale mix of healthy, fresh foods and a specialty coffee bar. Other amenities and services include 4,500 square feet of meeting space equipped with projection screens, 65-inch smart TVs and built-in audio-visual equipment, a grand ballroom for weddings and corporate events, and a 1,300-square-foot state-of-the-art fitness center.
As the first new-build hotel in the area in over 50 years, this modern destination will help meet the growing demand in Camden, as the South Jersey city continues to rapidly grow as a hub of business and tourism activity. The project received LEED GOLD certification for energy efficiency and sustainability.
