We partnered with Gwinnett Technical College to provide building design and master planning for its Alpharetta campus to meet evolving needs. Site challenges drove most of the design work, as multiple streams limited building placement.
Positioned at the main entrance to avoid stream disruption, the first 92,350 square-foot building houses administrative functions such as recruitment, police, bookstore, library, advisement, and tech support spaces. The second floor’s lengthy curved curtain wall floods light in the open office administration area and public spaces and provides support for the outdoor patio for the third floor above.
A new campus side entrance allows for direct access without affecting traffic congestion. Our vision supports the school’s plan for growth and maximizes its exposure from its prime Alpharetta location.
