Working closely with Comcast during their initial move to Philadelphia and the launch of the Comcast Center in 2006, NELSON Worldwide was the interior designer for the original Ralph’s Café, the employee food service experience on Floors 43 and 44.
In 2020, Comcast engaged NELSON to refresh and upgrade the cafeteria and kitchen. Not only did Comcast seek a brighter and fresher two-story food service experience, but they envisioned this being a positive “welcome back” when employees returned to work post-COVID. The Ralph’s menu was expanded to include additional healthy items, and particularly the salad bar station was reconfigured.
