We worked with the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office in Marietta, Georgia to project future program needs and develop a master plan to match those needs with a new detention center. Our team conducted extensive research from the beginning to ensure the facility would operate at maximum efficiency and safety, by visiting new intake centers across the country. This research led to the development of new procedures and processes for the detention center.
The first phase was a 384-bed work and release center, while the next phase was a $94 million, 1,172-bed addition. The addition includes a new intake and transport area, video visitation center, staff amenities, and administration area.
