For over 90 years, BMW has been delivering premium automobiles worldwide. Its first U.S. production facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina, is a key part of their global operations. To keep up with demand, BMW expanded the plant with the two-phase BMW Flex-Hub and BMW Inland Port project.

BMW Inland Port, located in Greer, SC, added over 700,000 square feet of logistics space to support importing and exporting BMW’s X-Series models. Cornerstone, a NELSON Worldwide Company, played a vital role in bringing this LEED-certified facility to life, which features modern tilt-wall construction, air conditioning, and an advanced ESFR fire protection system. With a fully integrated security and data system, along with seamless access between phases, this facility has helped make Spartanburg BMW’s largest production plant worldwide.
