Cornerstone, a NELSON Worldwide Company, partnered with CenterPoint Properties to design and build a 357,000 SF production and warehouse facility for Friant & Associates, located at the Suffolk Intermodal Center near the Port of Virginia. The facility, constructed with a steel frame, concrete tilt-up wall panels, and a TPO membrane roof system, serves as Friant’s East Coast hub for fabricating and distributing high-end office furniture. The project included shell construction, tenant build-out, and comprehensive site work. With 357,000 SF dedicated to production and warehouse space, the facility has advanced heating, air systems, motion sensor lighting, and CNC machinery.
