We were challenged to design a mega resort in Las Vegas that would serve as the ultimate multi-purpose destination in the entertainment capital of the world. The plan accounted for more than 10,000 rooms and a total of 12,000,000 square feet. The Tropicana resort was planned to be the largest hotel and building complex in the world.
Our design featured six hotels connected by casino and retail space, and an outdoor plaza. In addition, Tropicana featured a 600,000 square-foot convention center, three resort spas, two show lounges, nearly 20 restaurant and entertainment venues, and a fire station.
