When Doctors Hospital of Coral Gables, Florida embarked on an ambitions master plan to transform their facility into a boutique hospital, we partnered with them to upgrade their emergency department.
The new emergency department features an increased number of exam rooms, from 16 open, outdated patient bays to 27 private rooms, allowing them to accommodate more patients and better serve the needs of their community. In addition, support areas are updated to the latest clinical standards and a central nursing station allows for more efficiency and improved visual control of patient rooms.
