Argonne National Laboratories
NELSON is currently performing architectural design services for Argonne Laboratory, a multidisciplinary science and engineering research center. The new space will accommodate the world’s largest and fastest supercomputer and the first exascale computer in the United States. NELSON designed this two-story, 88,467 SF building to accommodate an expansion of TCSB’s existing data center for a 60-megawatt load and the supporting mechanical and electrical utilities. The multi-purpose space also includes facilities management offices and owner administration spaces.
