Associated Press: The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis follows science and steady funding to a broader mission
By: NELSON Worldwide
For over two decades, the Lois Pope Life Center has been more than just a research facility, it has been ground zero for some of the world’s most critical breakthroughs in spine & brain injury research.
We are incredibly proud that NELSON Worldwide designed this facility which serves as home to the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. As highlighted in the Associated Press, gathering neuroscientists, researchers, and clinicians into this single, purpose-built hub has sparked “unexpected advances” in treating spinal cord injuries, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease.
This project reminds us that great healthcare design isn’t just about walls and roofs; it’s about creating an environment where miracles can happen.
